5  Morning Habits That Improve Your Brain, Memory, and Focus Every Day

by MaryamYamin

We all have different morning habits, but today we focus on the morning habits for brain health. The brain is the boss of our human body; if it is working well, our whole body machinery will work well and in the right order. Morning habits have ae a great influence on the day that follows after we wake up, and they also have a strong connection to our memory, which improves every day.

Below are the 5 morning habits for brain health:

Drink Water Before Coffee

Drinking water before coffee is very important; it helps our stomach relax and not take immediate action to process. Taking coffee on an empty stomach has many side effects. Drinking coffee on an empty stomach can lead to acidity, faster caffeine absorption, and digestive discomfort. On the other hand, taking plain water on an empty stomach rehydrates the body after sleep, aids digestion, and supports regular bowel movements.

Do meditation

Morning time is best for meditation. It helps you in multiple ways. Meditating in the morning at sunrise will lessen stress, calm your nervous system, and lower early stress hormones. It improves your focus and sharpens your attention so that you can think clearly all day. It helps you set a calm and positive tone.

Move Your Body for 10–20 Minutes

Keep your body moving for 30 minutes and do whatever you like, but your body must be in motion. Some people like to walk in the morning; it is good for heart health, and seeing greenery while walking makes it even better. Some people like stretching; even this is also better. Some people over 40 like to do moderate exercise, keeping in mind that if they have not exercised at this age, they will have to suffer in the rest of their lives after 50.

Eat a healthy breakfast

Eating a healthy breakfast means you must eat high-protein, high-fiber, and healthy fats.

If you think of a high-protein breakfast, then boiled eggs are good enough. They fulfill all your day’s requirements. And have a slice of brown bread with that. In fact, there are endless healthy breakfast options; it’s up to you how you choose them.

Avoid Checking Your Phone Immediately

This one-click generation sticks to their phones all night. But you have to quit this bad habit. And you have to avoid checking your phone immediately after getting out of bed. Because checking your phone instantly after waking up has negative side effects. And one more thing: there are so many apps and so much content on social media that if you touch your phone and start clicking on one app, you will keep scrolling endlessly. Which is a time-killing habit.

You might be surprised that I have discussed only 5 habits; the point is I want to give all the readers a gradual start.
